Two-year-old Spikraft will be hoping to build on his first experience by winning the G3 level at the Nashua Stakes on the sand at Aqueduct, USA, on Sunday, November 3.

Discreet Cat's son will rise to the mile under coach Tom Albertrani after gaining a three-and-a-half-mile lead under Jose Lizcano, who will take over again, in a six-furlong start-up at the Belmont Park on Saturday, September 21.

Spikraft: From the first lane out of 10 participants, six horses each won their only participation, in addition to the winner of the Smokeglaken Stakes "Meru".

"Spikraft has been advanced and sharpened after winning a start-up race," said Tom Albertrani. "He dominated the competition at Belmont Park, but not necessarily always in the lead.

"Many of these horses are similar to the Spicraft case, in terms of winning their only participation, and this race is expected to distinguish between a few of them.

Michelin (Michael Stedam / Jose Lizcano) won the Sorority Stakes at Monmouth Park in September and the two-year-old skilled back on the grassy track a mile away in the Chelsea Flower Stakes after finishing ninth on the sand at the G1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes.
